Art-maker, Activist, Mother, and Peace-making-trouble-maker.

Thanks to Allah, Liz, a Chicago native, finds inspiration in the beauty, diversity and miracles revealed in everyday people and this amazing planet earth. Her hiphop roots can be seen in her work which include small scale illustrations, multi-media collage and large -scale mural projects. She has painted walls across the city including the Bloomington 606 Graffiti Garden and the Splash Project at 26th & Sacramento. Her works have been shown in institutions such as the Chicago Cultural Center, Hyde Park Art Center, Zhou B Center, SSC’s Dorothea Theil Gallery and NIU’s Jack Olsen Gallery.
